The Bet where brought together in July,2010.

Using their distinctive sound as a weapon of choice , they are turning the lights on for a kind of music that combines the grace of the rhythms and melodies by Motown Soul/R n B, the significance and sensation by Jazz/Neo Soul and of course the sound textures and explosiveness by Blues-Rock and Psychedelia of the early 70’s.

This blend is completed with a pinch of Dub.
Power Soul.

The Bet sound.

The Bet from November , 2010 until the present day have made various appearances in places in Athens,
capturing the best out of the music lover’s impressions.

In January , 2011 The Bet got into Shakti Studio owned by Simon Bloom (Simeon Nikolaidis ) and recorded live a sample or their musical choices with an aim to imprint by sound the vividness, power and dynamic of their live appearances.

The outcome was an unreleased recordinf which includes :

Aaron Neville ‘s Hercules, 
Otis Redding’s Respect,
James Brown ‘s There was a time,
Oasis ‘s Wonderwall,
Gil Scott Heron’s Who’ll pay reparations,
Bill Withers’s Use me,
and
James Brown‘s I Feel Good.

“Who’ll pay reparations”  was included in February , 2011 “Hot” list of En Lefko 87.7 radio station.

The Bet continued through 2011 with various live performances,including their first television appearance for the popular program in the National Television “Esctv”

On August the 28th they headlined a unique festival which took place in the mount of Ziria at 1200 meters height the “Ziria Music Festival” , following the performances of established Greek rock artists Spiridoula and Dimitris Poulikakos .

From September 2011,they continued with their live performances, following the growing demand for their music.

As a perfect closing to a successful year,they performed live in En Lefko’s Studio on the 28th pf December ,2011 ,giving an excellent live performance in order to support their last live performance for 2011 on December the 30th in one of the most historical live stages in Greece’s modern history,

the “Kyttaro Live Club”.
