Freak de Funk - house/electro/minimal

Being born in North-Rhine Westphalia the relocation to Berlin meant for Freak de Funk the decision to determine out of his passion for electronic music and club-culture his future way: producing music in a professional way and being successful as a DJ.

His public DJ career started already at the age of 16 years spinning in clubs and at venues. Quite fast after that he participated in several DJ contest. In the year 2000 Freak de Funk won the “Jägermeister Party Award”.
Other important steps in his career were i.e. the Unite-Parade in Austria, the Nautic Club at famous “Timmendorf” beach and also the Safari in Italy. In 2010 Freak de Funk was booked to rock the Cocoon Lounge - the most prestigious club in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

But the past is not vital, all what counts is the own aspiration for the future.

What makes a good party? When do clubbers go home with a smile on their faces? Freak de Funk has the claim to satisfy those party people who are really going out for the spirit of good music and who want to party with their DJ.

The electronic scene has changed during the last 20 years to different directions. There are DJs who became prominent as true club DJs and there are partially producers who produce extraordinary tracks but don`t have a direct contact to the audience due to lacking club expereince.

Freak de Funk is definitely a true club DJ and that is exactly what he is appreciated for. Based on future music production with buddy artists and DJs, Freak de Funk wants to thrill his fans and raise his renownedness.

Especially his DJ-skills and his qualities as a stormy entertainer make him unique and delight his fans.

Over the years the mission remained the same: not only to spin records and play music but moreover to really celebrate together with the crowd.
