Selected pieces of work such as life drawing sketches, background/concept paintings and personal studies of mine reflect my first year in the course of Animation Production and my experience as an upcoming artist through the course. Also, a taste of the fundamentals in drawing for Animation for the future animation students!

"...I definitely feel that we cannot do the fantastic things based on the real, unless we first know the real." (Walt Disney, 1935.) Through out sketching, researching and exploring the real, occurs an illusion of life, my own world of imagination.

Painting and rendering out objects and figures is also a skill required from the animator/artist. "Observe, observe, observe. Be like a sponge - suck up everything you can lay your eyes on. Look for the unusual, the common, characters, situations, compositions, attitudes study shapes, features, personalities, activities, details, etc."(Walt Stanchfield)
